"International" education fair

 Though it was titled "International Education Fair", but the booths there were mostly local Uni's. Kinda disappointed with it. Just gave a 30 minute(actually it doesnt need this long) walk around and went straight out of the hall. Enjoyed playing the IQ questions and quizzes outside the hall though. XD *photos are all taken by phone, sorry for the quality!

 Nothing to do while waiting for the blood to fill the bag. lol

 Then he's treated with some food. We can't see cause it's so far inside. lol

 Went around taking pictures with this Astro mascot. Thought of taking with the mickey mascot too, but it went missing after that. lol

 Played some quizzes at the Astro booth and we were rewarded with this "painting" stuff. Dont know what it's called. It's like glass painting but it's rubbery, can be peeled off and stick to some surface. (i know, im some kinda jungle kid)

Then drove back to crystal bowl, played two games of bowling.

Hunting trips

 I'm finally back! sorry for the short silence cause i've been working. Went for two hunting trips last few weeks. One was Santubong area and the other was Serian. I'll start with the Santubong trip.

It was a beautiful day with clear skies.

Caught some crayfish-like shrimps, blue line rasboras, spiny eels and betta ibanorum. Target was cleaning shrimps but ended up getting none. There were hundreds of them just about two-three years ago. Guess the area is polluted by rubbish, that's why.


Next up, Serian.


 Asked my buddy to drive us there. X) Aiming the famous borneo sucker, we called up some friends from fb to join us. Didn't take many pictures as i didn't bring my cam(partly because we were focusing on diving to catch the fishes!)

Finally! I found time to update! The tank was set up on 22 Dec. First, let me introduce my tiny helpers. :D

The Yamato shrimp. Famous for cleaning hairy algae.

I like this side more haha. Got some of the plants from Haji, known him since form 2 or 3. Really nice guy indeed.

Went to tHe Spring to catch some popping battle. Ahh, again it brings back memories. The music and the atmosphere just brought my spirit up a bit. haha

Need some thoughts :

Haha actually didn't plan to go join the fun. But was just too tired of being at home. I've been at home since i completed my stpm except for celebration dinner, going starbucks and Christmas Eve musical drama(and of course going to buy stuff la) Well wanna know what i do at home? haha i've been cleaning up my room, cleaning up aquariums, doing some scaping, cleaning up the house and i have the whole outside floor and drain waiting for me to clean..My mom's nagging and asking me to help her out with the CNY cookies too. 

And guess what? My dad just said to me " You're not being productive today. Some stuff you haven't completed."....i just went " What!?..how productive do you want me to be?you want me to be like a maid?" I know that's rude, but it just slipped out of my mouth. Well i just don't know what do my parents want. I woke up this morning at 5.30am(don't know why i just cant sleep more these days..) then went downstairs at 6.30am just to be nagged by my mom, asked me to clean up stuff. I haven't even take my breakfast as i was enjoying my newly set up aquarium.So i just "ran" to Spring just to relax a bit. Somehow i'm just wondering whether there's someone out there like me? I dont want to feel like i'm the pity boy here. lol I'm not really complaining as this happpens EVERY year, at this time of the year. Tomorrow work starts again!

Here are some pics which i submitted to the monthly alphanatics forum competition. Back then the prize was a flash, so i kept sending in pics in hope of winning. Well after months, i eventually slowed down and gave up! There was once the winning pic, in my opinion was worse than mine! Maybe i was just too eager to win something hahaha

I really cant remember the title of this, but it's about losing someone or something. Haha!

 I titled this " Damn! the food got me cornered again!"

Christmas Tree!!

This is the first time we set up a Christmas tree in my home. Just for the sake of decoration i guess haha and of course the mood. :) As mentioned earlier the theme was purple. Our budget was limited so my sis and i had to go around to find THE ONE tree that's worth it. lol At Green Gallery, we first saw a tree with fibre optics and found it quite nice. However the price tag was just unbearable, even to look at. So the hunt was on and we found one at Boulevard. Although the fibre optics wasn't really as nice, it was worth it!


Then we spent one day decorating it. lol Here you go,

 With it turned on. Too bright?haha the fibre optics changes colour. White one at Green Gallery is better i guess. But again no $$..but no complaints! :)

Don't, i mean DO NOT spy upon this pic. Trust me. If not you'll see something you regret seeing. Purple baubles covered about 65-70% of the total decorations. Not to mention, purple euphorbia and purple ribbons too! Overdecorated? No i guess not. haha

My mom's favourite bauble.:)

We decided to buy some porcelain alike decorations to hang on the tree. We bought 5 so that each one represents a family member (how childish right? hahaha).

This is the only true porcelain one. 

There are only two angels so i guess they represent the two girls. XD

Hmm this sock, which pity guy's gonna be? Alright alright, i volunteer la. hahaha

 Then sis says she wanted to join a manicure contest. So asked me to help her take some pics(of course with pay!...lol just joking la!) In the end, the contest cancelled because there just too little participants. hahaha
