Second Hunting Trip

Went back to Buntal one month ago to fulfill my friend's dream of catching a glimpse of the Milky Way! As usual, when we first arrived, we were served with fresh coconuts. Great hospitality. :) We then trekked through muddy mangrove swamp to the beach.

 City kids, this is fish out of water. The mudskipper.

 Walked around Buntal town for our lunch also some hooks and fishing line.

 Tried to fish but get nothing. I was surprised to see the water so blue!

 Picking stones for stone skipping.

A cat that followed us the whole time. To the beach, to the camp, to fishing, to collect seashells, to camp fire. Anywhere!

Beautiful sunset. Was amazed by how the colour changes. These three sunset pics were taken in 20 minutes time frame.

 

Roasted a huge tapioca for dinner.

 Never seen the sky so full of stars before in my life! not to mention meteors too!

The Milky way finally emerged at about 3am. Shot by my friend with his cam. The bright sky was caused by heavy light pollution from the city. Didn't have the great shot of it. But we were just lucky to see it.
